As a child, Ryan never thought he would grow up to run for office. Raised by a single mother, experiencing homelessness, and moving around made it difficult for Ryan to see a clear future for himself. In spite of these challenges, Ryan persisted and has found a great community here in Cincinnati. He knows that the role of government is to give everyone an equal opportunity to access the American dream, regardless of the circumstances they are born into.

Every Cincinnatian should have access to a better future. As a leader in the affordable housing space, Ryan will fight to ensure that people can afford to live in our city. His social work and business backgrounds have prepared Ryan to approach the neighborhoods that need the most support and the businesses that bring development and economic growth into our city. Economic empowerment and access to forward growth are at the core of Ryan’s platform.

Ryan believes that to lead, you must first gain the trust of your community. Cincinnatians deserve a seat at the table, and Ryan will work hard to ensure that every voice is heard before critical decisions are made. Ryan’s experience serving as a director in the non-profit space has equipped him with the skills needed to bring community members and stakeholders together.
